It is designed for people who keep many videos on a Mac, external SSDs, or local network storage, and want to find the right file quickly without opening every movie one by one.

The FREE version is for trying REAL with a smaller library.

The PRO version unlocks the full library size supported by your license.

Privacy

REAL is a local-first macOS app.
Your video files stay on your Mac, external drives, or local network storage.
REAL does not upload your videos to a cloud service.

Requirements

• macOS 12 or later
• Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
• Local video files such as MP4, M4V, or MOV
• Optional: VLC for mobile playback handoff

Install

1. Download and unzip the package.
2. Move Real.app to /Applications.
3. On first launch, right-click Real.app and choose Open if macOS asks for confirmation.
4. Add your video folders from the sidebar.
5. Start scanning.

For PRO:
Keep Real.app and REAL_LICENSE.key together for the first launch.
After REAL shows PRO status, you can move Real.app to /Applications.

Notes

REAL is currently focused on macOS.
Windows and Linux versions are not included.
